We can be disappointed in unfulfilled 'hope' but never in unfulfilled 'faith'. This is because 'faith' never fails. If we experience a failure in something we are expecting in 'faith' then the 'faith' we thought we had must have only been 'hope' or our own wishful thinking. 'Hope' is something from the 'natural' where as 'faith' is a gift from God that only He can inspire and fulfil.
Something to think about
It’s not the bad things that people have done that keeps God’s love at bay, no, forgiveness is always there for the asking. The problem is hard and proud hearts that don’t see the need of God in their lives.
